Sat Mar 16 – 10 AM to 1 PM (pick one)

Intro to Digital Film ($15)
An introduction to the equipment, softwares, processes, workflows, terminology and basic technical concepts involved in digital filmmaking and video production (16+). Sponsored by the Winnipeg Film Group

Intro to Audio ($15)
An introduction to sound acquisition / production and post production processes, including a review of sound recorders, microphones, accessories, softwares and workflows. Sponsored by Video Pool

Intro to Independent Filmmaking ($15)
Learn about the different planning pathways to get your film project made, as well as the steps you can take to get your film onto the big screen.

Sat Mar 16 – 2 PM to 5 PM

Smart Phone Movie Making ($15)
There’s an app for that! Learn tips on how to capture video using your smart phone and then edit it using free online software. Participants must bring their iPhone, Android or Windows smartphone to use in this class (13+). Sponsored by the Winnipeg Film Group

Maker Stations for Kids of All Ages (FREE)
These fun digital art maker stations will provide fun, informal and interactive hands-on introductions to the basics of electronic art and stop motion animation. Make it an afternoon of media art fun by popping into these stations before or after the free Experimental Films for Kids! screening.
